Resource Play
Diversified Well Logging Inc.began mud logging resource plays in 2007 with the Eagle Ford Shale. Projects in the Haynesville Shale and Marcellus Shale followed shortly after, in 2008 and 2009 respectively. Diversified offers full service, stand-alone mud logging units, equipped with technology customized for resource play exploration. Because of the number of wells DWL has logged in these trends, we bring to the table the most experienced personnel in resource play exploration.

Eagle Ford Shale
DWL began our resource play mud logging in 2007 with the Eagle Ford Shale in south Texas. We have worked with a number of companies including: Pioneer Natural Resources in Karnes, Dewitt, Live Oak, and Bee counties; Petrohawk Energy in LaSalle and McMullen counties; El Paso E&P in LaSalle county; Murphy Exploration in Karnes, LaSalle, and McMullen counties; EOG Resources in Wilson, Karnes, LaSalle, Gonzales, Atascosa, and Webb counties; Chesapeake Energy in Dimmit county; and Exploration Techniques in Milam county.
DWL operations and support for the Eagle Ford Shale are handled through our Corpus Christi, Texas facility.
Haynesville Shale
DWL began mud logging the Haynesville Shale in north Louisiana in 2008, and has followed the recent trend into east Texas. We have worked with a number of companies including: EnCana Oil & Gas in Desoto, Sabine, Red River, and Caddo parishes in Louisiana, as well as San Augustine County in Texas; Exco Resources in Desoto, and Caddo parishes in Louisiana, as well as Shelby County in Texas; KCS Resources in Bossier, Red River, and Caddo parishes in Louisiana; Petrohawk Energy in Red River, Bienville, and Desoto parishes in Louisiana; Shell E&P in Sabine and Red River parishes in Louisiana; Southwestern Energy in Shelby County in Texas; El Paso E&P in Desoto Parish in Louisiana; Common Resources in San Augustine County in Texas; Cabot Oil & Gas in San Augustine and Rusk counties in Texas; and Anadarko Petroleum in Panola and Rusk counties in Texas.

Marcellus Shale
DWL began mud logging the Marcellus Shale in Pennsylvania and West Virginia in 2009. We have worked with a number of companies in this area including: Anadarko Petroleum in Lycoming County in Pennsylvania; East Resources in Potter and Tioga counties in Pennsylvania; EOG Resources in Clearfield County in Pennsylvania; Grenadier Energy in Wetzal County in West Virginia; Mountain V Oil & Gas in Washington County in Pennsylvania; PDC Mountaineer in Taylor County in West Virginia; Range Resources in Lycoming, Washington, and Beaver counties in Pennsylvania; Seneca Resources in Elk, Jefferson, and Forest counties in Pennsylvania; Stone Energy in Wetzal, Marion, and Marshall counties in West Virginia, as well as Susquehanna County in Pennsylvania; and Tanglewood Exploration in Green County in Pennsylvania.

Fayetteville Shale
DWL has experience mud logging the Fayetteville Shale in Arkansas. We have worked with Hallwood Petroleum in White County. DWL operations and support for the Fayetteville Shale is handled through our Reserve, Louisiana facility.
Chattanooga Shale
DWL has experience mud logging the Chattanooga Shale in northern Alabama. We have worked with Jim Walter Resource, Inc. in Tuscaloosa County. DWL operations and support for the Chattanooga Shale is handled through our Reserve, Louisiana facility.
